God Charlamagne: Biden ‘Uninspiring,’ ‘No Energy’

President Joe Biden has come under fire from syndicated radio and television star Charlamagne Tha God Sunday, who called him a “uninspiring” candidate whose message to Americans is not resonating and warned that voter indifference, or “the couch,” will be the decisive factor in the 2024 presidential contest.

The co-host of “The Breakfast Club” radio program, Charlamagne, said on ABC News’ “This Week,” “There’s nothing about Joe Biden that makes you want to listen to him.” She went on to say that the president should be depending more on Vice President Kamala Harris, “who’s way more charismatic than him.”

In addition, Biden ought to rely on other proxies, such as Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro or California Governor Gavin Newsom, and others who are “more inspiring than him, are more charismatic than him,” according to Charlamagne. “He ought to be, if you may use that term, the operational brains behind the scenes. Though it may seem absurd to say such things about the president of the United States of America, he lacks any sense of motivation. None.”

He responded to a question concerning why Biden’s remarks regarding the events in the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, aren’t having an impact.

“People literally tried to overthrow the government because they were unhappy with the outcome of an election that was presided over by a former president,” the author writes. I don’t know what will make people feel more urgent if that doesn’t,” he remarked.

However, Charlamagne went on to say that he did not believe Biden’s problems were only related to his age.

“I think it has everything to do with him,” he replied. “What is Donald Trump? Three or four years less than President Biden’s age? He seems far more impressionable. I often say this about them: Donald Trump looks more passionate about his lies than Joe Biden does about his truths. He also gives off the impression of having a lot more vitality.”

The talk show host supported Biden in 2020, mostly because Harris was his running mate. However, he stated on Sunday that although Harris hasn’t lived up to his expectations, it’s still possible for her to change course.

“Historically, vice presidents have always kind of played their role to just basically parrot the president,” added Charlamagne. As the first woman of color in that role, she fulfills a unique role in providing ‘new jack’ answers for ‘new jack’ challenges. She is capable of saying and discussing things that he is not.”

He went on, “That includes giving her back her prosecutorial role.”

“I want to see her prosecute the case against Donald Trump in this country,” he stated. “I feel like she could go out there and really let the American people know what’s going on.”

In the meantime, Charlamagne clarified his stance on the “couch” winning the election by stating that “the Democrats are the cowards because they don’t fight hard enough on anything, and the Republicans are the crooks.”

But voter indifference is the “couch.” It seems like the couch is going to prevail right now,” he remarked.

In addition, Charlamagne stated that he is not supporting Trump or Biden, but he also believes that no one is interested in seeing them rematch.

“I’m going to speak the truth about Democrats too because I feel like if you lie to people about Democrats, they won’t believe you when you tell them the truth about Republicans,” he stated.
