Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or peanuts) 
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows 
  • 1 cup fruit-flavored jelly (your favorite) 
  • 2 cups powdered sugar 
  • 1 cup corn syrup 
  • 1/2 cup butter 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 

Instructions: 

  1. Start by lightly coating a baking dish with butter to prepare it. 
  2. Put the butter and corn syrup in a skillet and melt it over medium heat. To prevent burning, stir from time to time.
  3. Mix thoroughly after adding the vanilla extract. 
  4. Until the mixture takes on the consistency of smooth dough, gradually whisk in the powdered sugar. 
  5. Make sure the chopped nuts and micro marshmallows are uniformly distributed throughout the sweet mixture by folding them in. 
  6. To create a marbled effect, gently pour the fruit-flavored jelly over the mixture and swirl it in. 
  7. Firmly press the nougat mixture into the baking dish that has been oiled. 
  8. Let the candy cool fully for one to two hours at room temperature. 
  9. Cut the nougat into tiny bars or squares after it has set. 
  10. Eat your nostalgic nougat candy treats right away or keep them in an airtight container for later use!
