Trump Leads Biden 4 to 1 in Michigan Poll, a Crucial Battleground

Michigan, one of the most important battleground states on the 2024 presidential map, continues to lean marginally in favor of former President Donald Trump, who leads President Joe Biden by 4 points in the EPIC-MRA poll.

Michigan is a “blue wall” state that Trump carried in 2016 but Biden won in 2020.

According to Bernie Porn, an EPIC-MRA pollster, “it points to a potential Trump win unless things dramatically change,” as reported by the Detroit Free Press. “[Biden is] at a point where, before long, he’s got to start moving numbers in his direction.”

In the poll, which was conducted during early voting before Tuesday’s conclusion of the presidential primary, Trump is leading Biden 41% to 45%.

In a podcast on Tuesday, seasoned Democratic fundraiser Bill Ackman claimed that Biden was “doing very poorly in Michigan” as Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., continued to mount a remote primary bid.

About Biden in Michigan, Ackman declared, “His polls are terrible.” “He hasn’t actually spent any time there, and the Muslim community is not thrilled with him. It can serve as a trigger for him to retreat if he feels humiliated in Michigan.”

600 likely Michigan voters were surveyed by Lansing, Michigan-based EPIC-MRC polling from February 13–18. The results had a 4-point margin of error.
