Adele Halts Residency in Las Vegas Due to Health Issues

Due to health issues, Adele has postponed her residency in Las Vegas.

The singer announced on social media that she was taking a vocal break after becoming sick.

In an Instagram statement shared on Tuesday, the 35-year-old singer said, “Unfortunately, I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency.”

“I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break,” she stated, adding that she “hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed.”

The premature continuation, Adele continued, left her feeling “sick again, and unfortunately it’s all taken a toll on my voice.”

The smash song “Easy On Me” singer declared that she would be taking it easy till her doctor gave her the all-clear.

The next five weekends have been affected by the postponement. March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30 are the revised dates. As soon as new updates become available, they will be distributed.

She posted on Instagram, saying, “I love you, I’ll miss you like mad, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.”

During a recent concert at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum, Adele opened up to the crowd about her health, according to the Daily Mail.

“In the middle of last night — I’m sure you can hear it in my talking voice and my singing voice a little bit — your girl was tired,” she stated to the crowd. “I didn’t get much sleep, and tonight Ursula from the ocean emerged from my chest. I’m not hitting my headnotes correctly. My chest feels like it’s on fire and I didn’t get much sleep.

“Can you imagine how hard it is for me not to talk for three days straight after this show?” Adele said, apologizing to the audience.

Adele carried on singing in spite of her discomfort, according to the Daily Mail.

She proclaimed, “You’ve been amazing,” to the assembly. “The program. Thank you for putting everything together from the beginning, love. everything’s magical, magical, magical. I’m very happy you enjoyed yourself. I feel insane, and I look crazy. I will take a voice rest.”
